TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Payment: 50% of the invoice amount is due upon contract. If Stylish Cabinets does not install the cabinets, the remaining 50% is due before delivery or pickup of the cabinets. If Stylish Cabinets installs the cabinets, 25% additional is due upon delivery of the cabinets and the remaining 25% is due upon completion of installed cabinets. If Stylish Cabinets installs the countertops, payment for the cabinets is due upon completion of the cabinets and the balance is due upon completion of the countertops.
Returns or Exchanges: No returns or exchanges on items that have opened boxes, assembled, damaged (except for manufacturer defect), missing parts or special orders. All other returns or exchanges are subject to a 25% restocking fee. No returns or exchanges after 14 days.
Color Variations: All of our cabinets and doors that are made from natural wood may have some natural imperfections such as spots, shade variances, knots, etc. These are not considered defects as changes cannot be made to natural grain and color variations. Cabinet boxes are made of furniture grade plywood and the doors are usually solid wood. The paint or stain will not match exactly between the plywood and solid wood.
Contraction and Expansion: Solid wood door panels are prone to minor expansion and contraction as seasonal temperature and humidity changes occur in the home. The contraction or shrinkage of the center door panel during low humidity periods may result in the appearance of an unfinished line along the edge of the center panel. The seller does not consider the appearance of an unfinished line as a defect and will not replace doors due to this situation. It is recommended that a humidity control system be incorporated in the home to replace the possibility of expansion or contraction in wood products.
Care and Maintenance: Wipe with a clean, soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. Never use a dishcloth or sponge that might contain remnants of detergent or grease. To remove food residue or grease, use any common dishwashing liquid-not detergent-or solution of mild soap and water. Wipe with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly. If a spill occurs, clean and dry immediately. Left unattended, a spill can soak through the wood surface and cause damage. Do not use soap pads, steel wool, or cleaners that contain bleach, ammonia, or abrasives. These agents may cause discoloration, marring, or dulling of the finish. Do not wax or polish cabinet surfaces. Wax build-up will leave a residue that is difficult to remove. The extensive use of wax or silicone polishes can result in a film build-up which may destroy the cabinet’s finish and void the warranty. Excess moisture can damage the cabinet finish. Clean spills, water, or moisture from cabinets immediately. Give special attention to areas around the sink and dishwasher. Avoid draping damp or wet dishcloths over the door of the sink base cabinet. Over time, this moisture can cause permanent damage to your cabinet finish. Water damage to cabinets is not covered under warranty.
One (1) Year Limited Warranty: Stylish Cabinets, LLC warrants from the date of purchase to the original purchaser that the cabinetry, door hinges and drawer glides will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage or defects caused by accidents, misuse, abuse or lack of necessary maintenance; nor does it cover alteration, modification, improper installation, improper handling/storage or environmental conditions. Stylish Cabinets, LLC may elect to repair or replace with a functionally equivalent product covered by this warranty. Some replacement parts are subject to availability and may differ from original parts received. Repair parts or replacement parts are at Stylish Cabinets expense but the customer shall bear all other expenses including but not limited to the cost of removal and reinstallation of the product, labor expenses, etc.
